Due to lower than needed audience numbers and increasing costs, we have made the difficult decision to pause Downlander's concerts. We are currently considering options, and once a decision has been made about the company's long-term future we shall publish the details here. In the meantime we shall carry out a variety of activities - such as running bars at other events - to keep our hand in and raise some money for if we are able to restart our own concerts!
We are liaising with the artists we had booked, together with a number of other promoters and venues, to try and ensure that some of the concerts can still go ahead - we will publish the details below for any that are rearranged, and will be present at these concerts to help run them. If we are unable to rearrange any concerts, and tickets had already been sold, we will be in touch with ticket holders via the box office to provide refunds.
We would like to express our gratitude to everyone who attended our concerts, and especially to everyone who helped get Downlander off the ground and make our concerts so enjoyable - our volunteers, our venues and, of course, our artists.
